spool not getting generated in SAP

Hi

can any one provide a proper explanation of the image uploaded .I am not getting spool for a job in SAP production and have submitted the issue to SAP and the uploaded image is the explanation received from SAP.

And after reading the same please provide a solution of what could be done on this to generate a spool.

like do we have to change the job time ,or sometime else needs to be modified in variant etc.untitled.png

Hi Ajilin,

Unfortunately, we will need more information to better assist you. Information like details about the spool you are trying to create, for which activity or transaction etc. There could be multiple reasons why a spool does not generate and you can find them easily if you search SAP Communities. Issue has been discussed multiple times for different scenarios and answers have been provided too.

In terms of what SAP is trying to explain is - per their analysis the spool you are trying to create is for completed transactions or messages, and that is why it did not getting generated. For example: lets say I am trying to create a spool request to print Invoice forms. But those Invoices were already printed or sent to the printer for my particular selection. The spool request was completed and the message was marked as complete too. Now, if try to create another spool request for the exact the same message, SAP would not do anything as the spool is already out there.

The purpose of the batch job is to provide a list of failed transmissions for Purchase Orders.

When a purchase Order is created it should create the e-mail and the PO PDF. This transaction is looking for failed messages from the day before, so the buyers can fix the problem

So the transaction that looks for those failed messages, is it standard transaction or custom job you have created? Would it be possible for you to provide is screen shot of that job along with the steps? I have a feeling the job it not running properly either for the selection or the steps.
