Source list error due to purchasing organization not responsible for plant

Hi all,

For our customer, we are testing a new Intercompany stock transfer set up between two plants.
I tried to create all necessary master data, but came across an error while creating the source list via the app Manage Source List and then Create function:

Purchasing Organization 3100 is not responsible for plant 2100.


The error makes sense, since the Purchasing organization has indeed not yet been assigned to the plant in the organizational structure.

However, when I try to create the same Source List entry via the app Generate Source List, the Source List is successfully generated and can be saved for Plant and Purch. Org 3100 for Procurement Plant 2100.

Can someone tell me how this is possible?
The requested material has been maintained with all required material master data for both plants.

Removed "SAP S/4HANA Cloud" tag, since this tag is only used when there is no specific area tag to use.

As per note 3136693, system will not trigger the said error when me01 is executed.

Hello Laksmipathi,

I have got same error however even from generate sourcelist i am not able create sourcelist what would be workaround and sap note is not working which is mentioned,
