Source Ledger option not available at the time of Version Creation. Only preparation ledger is available. how do we enable this option?

The ability to chose the Source Ledger or Preparation ledger is defined by the year being worked in. As per the help article "If you're working in a year before this from year, then you must maintain a Source Ledger for the version." This year can be edited in the configuration settings "Check Global System Settings"
