I'm the demand planner at a HVAC distributor our of Illionis. We have roughly $40M in inventory, 50,000 items, and do about ~4 turns a year. We use SAP Business One.
Our owner has asked me to get smarter on demand planning and purchasing to increase turns and reduce total inventory. I'm not entirely sure of the landscape of consultants and software products out there that we should look into that could help with this. What is everyone else using / what is best in class here?
A quick google search wasn't too helpful - it turned up vendors like Valogix and Netstock. Is anyone using these?
