SLED carry over

Hi,

We have a FG material A and it has a sub assembly B. Both batch managed and inhouse manufactured.
Both material has 30 days shelf life.

The requirement is -

Material B for example produced today 22.06.2022. The SLED calculated 21.07.2022.
Now this B material batch is used to produce A material on 27.06.2022, but instead of calculating the new SLED for the A material batch the SLED should be copied from B material batch which is 21.07.2022.

Can we achieve this by batch derivation or any other option available?

This feature is available in standard SAP. This functionality is called "Batch Derivation". There are multiple documents available about this topic on community. Please explore the same.
