SI Functional area

Few New functional area is manually created as subitem category 2 in SAP GR GUI 'Define SI category and SI'

In the define consolidation master data fields, hierarchy is enabled for functional area. Still While creating consolidation functional area hierarchy these values are not showing up for selection in ‘Manage global Hierarchy’ .

What could be missing or an issue.

Appreciate inputs.

They are not in S4 , but created only as sub item. Which table you are referring to when you mention ' in the table for functional area'

Did you create the additional values in fiori --> Masterdata for consolidaiton fields in the table for functional area (or have they been created in S/4HANA Accounting)?

It might feel double that you have to create the masterdata as subitem as well as functional area, but that is how the system works.
