It is strange, but can you check when the material is changed and when you are exploding the BOM.
Also have you update your database, like HANA? Inconsistancy may be due to this.

Hi Team ,
In case if the item category is " Non-Stock Item", then we have a "Purchasing tab" under the "BOM item data.
Hence, there will be a chance of maintaining two different material groups. But in my issue the item category is "Stock item",
and displaying two different material groups under CS12 & MM03.

You might be seeing the copied material group at the time of bom creation for a non stock material. You need to update bom item with the latest material group from material master.
