Dear All,
I'm very much new in shift planning, The client requirement is as such
Plz guide me to proceed further...
Thanks,
Santosh
Hi Santos,
IT2003 is a mandatory infotype.
A substitution is generally understood be temporary replacement for an employee who is absent. In the business world, a substitution also means assigning another person to take over the position and associated tasks of an absent colleague.
Check the below path:

Dear All,
Day shift ( 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM)
N: Night Shift (08:00 PM to 08:00 AM)
But on system client don't want to show the 12 hrs shift i.e. D and N. Now they are maintaining the D and N shift as 8 hrs shifts and paid 4 hrs work as over time in cash payment. In SAP they want to follow the same procedure.
I'm explaining you the scenario. I'm not able to provide u the emp. grp and sub grps details because it's nt yet decided by the client.
Plz let me know if you need any further details.
Dear Guru's
Any response please..
Thanks,
Santosh
