Hello SAP Community,

In our warehouse we pull our SLED controlled products from unrestricted stock prior to the actual expiration date. This differs depending on the part, (ex. 4 months, 6 months etc.) I want to keep the expiration date that is displayed in SAP what the actual expiration date is. But i would like to provide visibility as to when stock levels will be pulled from inventory prior to the actual expiration.

When using MB5M it is only displaying the actual expiration date that is entered in SAP. Is there a way to get the date the product will be pulled from inventory prior to expiration to display as well?

Hi dustmop22

You can use same MB5M report by entering Remaining Shelf life days like 5 days as you would like to see batch prior expire batches which may expiring in next 5 days based on expiry date maintained in the batch record.

Output list will be display only batches which will be expire in next five days.

Rem.shelf life whse will be only display based on storage percentage and Min. Rem. Shelf life maintained in the material master.

Regards/ NR

Hello Nasir,

Could you further explain the meaning of storage percentage? Attached is a screen shot of what i have in the MM. I would like to display the date the Min. Rem. Shelf life will be met.

Hi dustmop22

As example, If you have maintained 25 Percentage as storage percentage with Min Shelf Life 4 month in material master and it become ( 4 * 25 / 100 ) = 1 Month, so if actual expiry date in batch is 25.08.2024, then it will calculate and display 1 month (30 Days) early expiry date and no of period as 26.07.2024 with 232 Days in MB5m but actual expiry date is 25.08.2024 with 262 days based batch.
