Shelf life expiration date from batch is not copied to HU item

Hi experts!

In SAP I have a batch with a expiration date in MSC3N.

But in same cases the expiration date dont' move to handling unit when I packing it in outbound delivery.

The batch was created before to the outbound delivery packing.

I don't understand what happend, I think it's standard

The expiration date of the batch don't move to HU.

this happens occasionally without any explanation.

Would you share some screen shots of the situation you're facing? Your question is confusing as HU as such doesn't have expiration date. HU is a packing object that can hold multiple batches. Expiration date is a characteristic of a batch, not of a HU.

The questions is why the system don't move the expiration date for the bath to the handling unit in some cases...
