Sharing Capacity over multiple resources

Business has three resources. The total capacity of these resources is 120 hours. The capacity can be spread across the three resources, i.e. week 1 = 50 hours, 50 hours, 20 hours; week 2 = 10 hours, 80 hours, 30 hours. Currently in CM07 and CM25 the capacity shows 120 hours for each resource. How can we combine the capacity over the three resources? Two, or possibly three, resources may run at the same time.

I have searched and there seems to be some solution in APO but we do not have this module. Is there a solution without it?

Hello,

You should create it as only one resource with 3 individual capacity with 120 Hrs a week.

As you have created 3 resource and put 120 as capacity per resource.

You have define correct capacity on individual resource in this case.

Pardon me if I am oversimplifying - have you considered using pooled capacity?
