Settlement of Revenue Bearing Project

Hi

Please tell me where can we settle a Revenue Bearing Project to ?

I don't want to settle it to a PSG segment . So can someone give some suggestions on how to settle this type of project.

if u dont want to settle to PSG / SALES ITEM u can setttle to top WBS element and put profile for top WBS do not settle.

Revenues or customer down payments can only be settled to G/L accounts, profitability segments, sales documents, real estate objects, orders with revenues, or WBS elements.

How do I settle secondary cost elements cost to G/L a/cs ? What would be the settings required for this in Allocation Structure? Is it correct to settle Sec. Cost elements to G/l A/c ?

Is there any special setting required to do settlement to Sales Order Item in Allocation structure ?

If I settle all the lower WBS to Level 1 WBS , then will I be able to close the Project ? Is there any way to close the project which has Open items ?

settle to the sales order line item (SDI) if you do not want to settle to PSG

Hi Virendra

The system does not permit us to settle a Revenue Project to the Sales Order . I just checked this possibility.

Any other ideas?

check your settlement profile in configuration

standard SAP allows settlement to SDI

The configuration has been done correctly to allow for SDI .System gives a error message saying that we cannot settle the project to a sales order which already has a WBS Account assignment .
