Settlement Entry Not Generated for Production Order – Request for Analysis

Dear SAP Team,

I am currently working on creating Production Orders in SAP. However, I have encountered an issue where the settlement entry for the Production Order is not being posted. After confirming the Production Order, the system does not generate the settlement accounting entry as expected.

Here is a brief outline of the process I am following:

• The material has a multi-level BOM.
• I run MRP, which generates a planned order.
• I convert the planned order to a production order.
• I then confirm the production order.

Despite following the standard process, the settlement entry is missing. I kindly request your assistance in analyzing this issue and helping resolve it.

Hello,

there are several reason, why the system is not creating accounting documents? Lets try to find out:
- What order type are you using? A standard order type?
- Do you have the order status "Settlement rule created" in your order?
- Can you display the settlement rule in your order? A screenshot would be perfect.
- It there something to settle? Do you confirm a activity on a workcenter? Is there the costing tab maintained with a cost center and proper formulas?
