Set Default Filter Value for Work Center Category in Create Maintenance Request (F1511A) App

 Dear Experts,

We are using the standard SAP Fiori App "Create Maintenance Request" (F1511A). When user clicks on the value help for the Main Work Center, a dialog opens where they can search using filters such as Work Center, Plant and Work Center Category. 

As part of business requirements, they would like the Work Center Category filter to default to 0005 (Plant Maintenance) each time the value help dialog is opened.

We explored UI adaptation options using SAP Business Application Studio. Checked for controller extensions. 

Is there any supported way to default the Work Center Category filter field to 0005 in the value help dialog for Main Work Center. If yes, kindly advise how we can achieve this.

It is not technically possible to set a default value for Work Center Category in the value help of the standard Fiori app F1511A. Even if enforced, defaulting to category 0005(plant maintenance) it could lead to mismatches with work centers used by other teams like Production. Therefore, it is not recommended from both a technical and business perspective.
