Hi Experts,

we are using S/4hana public cloud, is ther a way to setup the field for BIC/SWIFT on the Bank Master data as mandatory?

I was not able to find a validation enhancement step in the app Custom logic.

Any ideas how we could do that?

Thanks

Christoph

Hi Christoph,

You can change the settings for those fields in the configuration. Search for Manage Field Status Group (SSCUI 104059). Field group BAMEDIT will contain the fields you look for in Defining UI Field Status and the settings to make them mandatory.

Hi Javier,

thanks for your reply, but this is only for the Manage Bank Accounts app. I am talking about the field BIC/SWIFT in the app Manage Banks.

Is there a SSCUI for this app too?

best regards

Christoph

Hi Christoph Bürgmayr-Posseth

Manage Field Status Group (SSCUI 104059) is for Manage Bank Accounts. See the screen shot below. You can find the field in the field status group BAMCRET but there might be other field status groups containing the field as well. Find the one you need depending on the action and change them to mandatory.

You can also explore doing some checks via extensibility App Extensibility: Manage Bank Accounts | SAP Help Portal

Hi Javier,

thanks for your reply, unfortunately you are still talking about the App "Manage Bank Accounts" but I need to have the BIC/SWIFT mandatory on the App "Manage Banks". Do you have any information for that App?

best regards

Christoph
