Service Contract(without activity number) service line price do not come in existing PR...

Hi All,

Please if anyone can help here.

We have contracts that have service line items without Activity numbers.

So the scenario is there is old contract and old PR created from that contract. But later we generally some times have to add more line items in those existing contracts and as soon as we do that the new condition is created which is valid from that day onwards only.

Now when we add that newly added service line item in old/existing PR the price does not pull as the PR is old and that line which we are adding have condition created from that new date.

This is general behaviour in sap that we have noticed. And for work around we either manually enter the price or we have to change the date to the past(to match the PR created date) of service condition for that service line item by ML52 by providing contract package number.

Can anyone know any sap note regarding this or can suggest a solution where when if we add new service line itme in PR it should get the price irespective of the date of that condition valid from.

E.x: Contract created at: 01/01/2022, PR created at 01/01/2022,

Service lines have conditions starting valid from 01/01/2022.

New service line is added in Contract on 01/02/2022, that created condition valid from obvious from 01/02/2022

Now if I add that newly added service to this PR it wont take price so I will go in ML52 and change the pricing conditon valid from date from 01/02/2022 to 01/01/2022(to match PR created date) so that it will take the price now.

P.S. We dont want to keep changing the service condition valid from date also neither want to create new PR always as there are lots of contract where lots of new services keep on adding.
