The service confirmation lines are all cancelled, but the service confirmation status remains Not Started instead of Cancelled.

The service confirmation is cancelled before released, so the document and item status remain Not Started, even though the document is cancelled.
In the service confirmations view, open the advanced search. Set the cancellation status=cancelled and search the confirmation, you can see the confirmation is filtered out, this means that the confirmation is cancelled. There are several status on a service confirmation: status; cancellation status; approval status; delivery status and invoice status.
To confirm the cancellation status, you will need to check the cancellation status.
This is the correct system designed behavior.
