Service and Asset Manager - notficiation type not appearing

Hello,

I am wondering why not all of my notification type are appearing in the SSAM when I want to create a notficiation from the app?  Does anyone know if I added e.g. Z1 in the customizing, where do I have to set it to be also used in the asset manager?

 I also added the types you see in the app vs the types I have in iw21:

Where exactly are they not appearing? Are you creating them on the client and they are not appearing on the list or are you creating them on the backend and expecting them in the client?
Please also mention the persona you are using along with the metadata version.
For the FST persona, the types are filtered using UserObjectType. Check the ServiceNotificationTypesQueryOption.js rule.

where did you set the Notification Types in Syclo?

There are two oMDOs where you can set types for Notifications:

• SAMXXXX_NOTIFICATION_GENERIC: Here you can set which Notifs you want to read/show on the SSAM from the backend - defined with an assignment type
• SAMXXXX_NOTIF_TYPE: Here you can set which Notification types should be visibile on Notification create page

@muhammad_rafay So my type Z1 notification type is not appearing, when trying to create a notification from the ssam. Yes I expect it in the client. The notification type has been customized in the backend.

The persona I am using is the Maintenance Technician.

@BjrnB I also tried the oMDO SMAXXXX_NOTIF_TYPE. Here I created a new "user profile parameter" rule with parameter ID VMP_NOT_TYP and set the parameter in su3 to Z1. For all the "z" order type we don't face any issues. But for the "z" notification types" we don't have all visible.

Add new Notification type in oMDO SAMXXX_NOTIF_TYPE using Filter Rule Type as "Static Value in Range Table Format"
