Hi dear community,
I have a question regarding Serial Number Profile & Incompleteness.
In TCODE OIS2 we define serial number profiles & assign procedures to those profiles. One of this procedures is "SDCC" "Completness check for delivery". If the Usage is set to 03 (obligatory) I would expect that we can setup a corresponding completeness check in SD / LE.
Now in TCODE OVA2 we can customize the incompleteness procedure. I would expect Table = V50UC, fieldname SERIAL to activate the incompleteness check.
Unfortunately my expectations do not match the system behaviour 😕 So I checked the incompleteness routine (SAPFV50U) v50uc_check_serial. This one only checks for SDLS and SDRE. It does not care about SDCC at all 😞
Now my question:
--> How is SDCC supposed to be working? I would like to enable / disable the check according to delivery type or similar.
--> What is the difference between SDCC and SDLS? in T377X I see the very same check routine "SERIAL_LISTE_LS". I also see the very same system behaviour.
--> The requirement of the Business is to make the serial number entry obligatory only in case of dedicated (outbound) delivery (item) types. Is there some other way I am missing?
(The check in (SAPFV50U) v50uc_check_serial (via "SERIAL_LISTE_LS") is also executed during PGR. So I am even not able to deactivate the check for inbound deliveries.)
Thanks & lot in advance & Best,
