Hi,
Is there any way to consolidate multiple Order confirmations or Billing documents into one e-mail?
We could have multiple sales order created for the same customer the same day and the customer would appreciate only getting one e-mail with all order confirmations instead of being bombarded with e-mails with order confirmations.
Same thing with Billing document. We invoice the same customer multiple orders the same day. We need to have separate invoices. But the customer would appreciate to get one e-mail with all invoices attachements instead of 100 separate e-mails.
Kind Regards,
Cecilia

Hello,
The scenario described involves consolidating multiple order confirmations or billing documents into a single email. SAP S/4HANA provides functionality that can help in similar scenarios, although specific configurations for email consolidation may need to be manually implemented or custom configured, as there’s no direct built-in setting mentioned in the available documents.
For order confirmations, SAP’s communication arrangement for email notifications can be configured. Using tools like Output Parameter Determination, you can generate email outputs based on grouping criteria. However, it primarily focuses on sending individual outputs per document unless specifically configured otherwise.
SAP S/4HANA offers omnichannel convergent billing Sales Billing where you could converge billing data from multiple sources into a combined invoice under specific conditions. This convergent billing can help streamline customer communications.
Solution Billing allows consolidating billing data Solution Billing from multiple products and services into one combined invoice under solution orders, though this may not directly address separate invoices sent together.
