Hi All

SAP Login certificate error is happening again on SAP Business One 9.1 version after Windows Security Update 12 Oct 2022.

Please share if anyone knows any relevant SAP research Note.

We uninstalled KB5018922 on our RDS server (Windows Server 2019) and can now connect. Looks like KB5018922 broke it.

I am still having this problem with SAP connecting to the server. I uninstalled the KB5018410 and was able to run SAP normally. But Windows does automatic updates and the security update was installed again. Has anyone else found a workaround to run the SAP client?

Hi All

It seems there is new windows security update 5019959 updated 10 Nov 2022 affected SBO 9.1 login.

For security reasons we would strongly recommend our clients to upgrade SAP Business One Software as there is a high risk that newer windows update cannot be uninstalled.

I have managed to roll back updates and keep out SAP software working and connecting for the time being. I am concerned that Microsoft will release another update which is case this problem again. I know we are running on borrowed time and you recommend upgrading our software but is there a workaround or possible a registry key that can be modified to not have Windows do the security check for the SAP database until we can investigate upgrading the software?

For SAP10 pl 2411 error Certificate Not From Trusted Authority - we had to update registry key

Create or edit registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\SAP Manage\SAP Business One\ValidateSSLCertificate with DWORD value "0"

It seems that reported scenario is related to issue described in the SAP NOTE 2334025 - Security Certificate Errors When Logging On to SAP Business One.

In such case, I kindly ask you to perform the workaround contained in the mentioned SAP Note. Also, please, check with the OS Administrator whether the referred TLS protocol are enabled in both application and database server.

Thanks for sharing this Note. SAP should update it for newer windows update affecting version 9.1 though it is listed 9.1 higher patch is compatible with Windows 10.

Hope you're doing well!

You are encountering this particular issue because usage of a SAP Business One Version which is not supported for Windows 10. The recommended solution is to upgrade SAP Business One to a version which is supported for Windows 10.

We have the same issue, but the above article is not relevant. We are not running on Windows 10 and we are using PL11

We are also getting the certificate error.
