Seasonal Maintenance strategy

Hello,

I have this requirement to have a monthly call from the maintenace plan from May till October and a 3 monthly call from November till June. 

Is it possible to achieve this by using the SAP maintenance strategies?

Could someone please help me on this?

Greetings.

Perhaps you can implement two maintenance plans:

• one for monthly
• one for three months packages

You could try with one but I think package hierarchy would not suffice to achieve this. In second step include these plans in separate IP30 variants and in third step define system job or a program do call the IP30 according to your calendar.

EDIT: This can be implemented also with two single cycle plans (one plan with cycle 1 MON and the other plan with cycle 3 MON) so you do not need to maintain strategies and and operation assignments to packages.

Hi,

By using multiple counter plan you can achieve your requirements. In this case there will be one plan and inside that two set.
