SE16 on table COEP button "number of entries" => WP hangs, no result is shown

SE16 on table COEP brings status info: Program /1BCDWB/DBCOEP does not exist yet in library

the DIA-WP hangs and did not come back with result ?

in SE16N you could see that table COEP is using proxy object => V_COEP

SAPABAP1.ACDOCA contains 1.083.205.422 records.

SAPABAP1.COEP contains 143.880.149 records.

same procedure with other tables will work fine

any idea?

it looks like to increase this configuration parameter

global.ini memorymanager statement_memory_limit 1 0 suggested between 30 to 500 [186]

suggested value was 186, that should be increased or unset / removed ?

it sounds like the sap support is joking

Unfiltered access to compatibility views such as MARC, COEP, COSS, COSP and others using SE16 and SE16N should be avoided, as it is not a business use-case.

Hi Christoph,

probably you have read this comment in the note about the program generation, but if not, this could solve the issue: "It will fail in the first time with the same message error but will generate the program, then in the second run it will work and the report will be available in the system."

yes, on second execution SE16 that status info did not come again, so that report is available,

but the issue is:
