SCREEN STRUCTURE FOR SIMPLIFIED VIEW

Dear PM guys,

I have created three notification types and for each notification type in the screen structure for Extended view,I have created four tab pages using registers and in each registers I have defined screen area.My query is even though I have not defined Screen Structure for simplified view for Notification types,Every thing works fine.Then what is the significance of SCREEN STRUCTURE FOR SIMPLIFIED VIEW.Please explain guys.

this simplified view is for general notification .Try T code IQS21.in that whatever you have created in simplified view will reflect here

Thank you Mr Thiyagarajan.Normally users will always use IW21 for creation of notification.In which scenario or who will use the T-Code IQS21.

As a PM guy you have to use only iw21 .but if you want to store some general information for any object you can use IQS21.for example if any problems accored in equipment and if you dont know the exact problem of equipment then you can create an general notification and after getting the details you can convert the general notification to Malfucntion notification
