Goods Issue to Scrap Process:
Normally we do Gi for Scrapping with 551 Movement Type. Based on the Material Document created, we create a TO w.r.t that Material Document. The IM stock reduced immediately. but the stock at WM level still not removed. If we confirm the TO, then the stock will be removed and stored in a separate Storage Type or Storage Bin which is meant for Scrapping purpose.
Now when we check the stock levels both at IM and WM level remains the same. At IM Level (MMBE), it wont show you the exact location of the material but it will show you the total available quantity. but when we look at WM Level (LS24), it will show you the quantity at Bin Level.
My question is:
What is the procedure for this scenario:
If I done the same above scenario, the scrapped quantity should not show when a user executes MMBE transaction. It should show in LS24 Transaction.
How to do this.
Regards,
For solution, please check following SAP note: 1871525 - Correction cases of stock inconsistencies between IM and WM.

Hi,
In the standard system,
1. After 551 is posted via MIGO - The stock is reduced in MM module (Not Seen in MMBE)
2. In the WM module, if TO is created automatically, the stock can be seen in storage type 910 (WA-Zone) and available stock of the bin reduces. (However the stock can be seen in the storage type 910 with a negative sign which means that is waiting to be removed from the Bin.. or the TO to be confirmed)
3. When step 2 performed, that is the TO is confirmed. The stock is removed from WM stock and is no longer seen in LX02 or LS24 or LS26
Hope this clarifies
