Scheduling for period lot size ' Start date at period start '

Dear Expert,

I need Planned order start date always at period start and delivery

date (order finish) at period end for example :

Period start 01/12/2008 and end at 05/12/2008 according to planning

calendar

Requirment date = 01/12/2008

planned order start should be = 01/12/2008 and finish date =05/12/2008

so i work with the Scheduling indicator in transaction OMI4 :

Scheduling (T439A-TERBV) to '4'

Inter.of events (T439A-INTKA) to ' '

but the result of running mrp in transaction MD04 Start date of the

planned order in not always at the Period start and also all the planned order with EM 30:

Dear,

Please let us know what is the lotsize key in MRP1 you are using?

Hence you check in OMI4..for a lotsize key where the scheduling field value = 3 (Period start := start and period end := delivery date).

If not there create a new one copying from MB(monthly lot size)...just change sheduling field value from 1 to 3...save and use this new lot size key and run MRP ...you will get the result.

You should run MRP with delete and recreate planned order option...then only you will get the result.

I do appreciate your concern

Result after running mrp with planning mode delete and recreate the planning data , system does't start at the period start ,but backwards schedule and start in 25/11/2008 for requirement in 01/12/2008
