Hi there.
I have prepared a new server to migrate our installation from WS2012+SQL2016 and SBO 10.0 FP2208 to WS2022+SQL2019 to SBO 10.0 FP2402 and then FP2405.
The installation and migration process was all correct.
Problem: SboMail and alert system. They do not work.
I have reviewed installation notes, reinstalled, SAP notes and nothing solves the problem.
Sending emails from the server from sqlmail works ok (from the transaction notification in sap database as well).
Sending emails from the B1if also works correctly.
Only from SAP it is not possible.
The same mailbox and configuration everywhere.
It can also be sent from SAP and through Outlook, except for the alert system.
Checking the operating system event viewer, I have an error saying event 62, source SBO Mail. The component causing this event is not installed on the local computer or the installation is corrupted.
What could we be missing from the configuration?
What could we be missing in the installation?
The Windows service is working without errors and the system and database configurations are correct, without errors of any kind.
Request clarification before answering.
Finally:
Installed 10.0 FP2208 - All working without problems.
Upgrade to 10.0 FP2405 - All working without problems.
Installing 10.0 FP2402 or FP2405 from cero sbomailer and alerts not works, workflow presents errors or causes problems
There is nothing included in any note or in any forum or post, but be careful with those versions.

Hi gonzalogomez
Please help to perform the below tsk and see if this helps:
1. Please deactivate all the databases from the Alert service. You can try disable the "Job Service Alert" from General Settings for all the databases.
2. Please try check each database one by one and see if you are able to get the test alert for any user?
3. Kindly also make sure that if you have many active alerts in any other database, please keep this test with simple database first to be sure if the issue is with Database specific or with Job Service itself.
4. From the SLD login window, please select the instance and all the databases, click the Refresh the Database User and see if this makes any difference?
5. If possible, please try create a latest backup of any database, restore it with different name (like a test database) and check the alert only for this test database and see if this works for you?
6. Please check the same after restart the Servertools and Service Layer services to see if this works now?
7. Kindly make sure that the SAP Business One Services are running the Admin / root user privileges.
8. If nothing helped, kindly collect all the mentioned logs as per this SAP Note "2419141" and share the correct date and time from your test. Please create incident using component SBO-BC-JOB and attach all information collected in this step 8.
Thank You.
Kind Regards
Nidhi Singh

Hello!
I am admittedly not an expert in this area, however, SAP Business One Support has released some pretty good material on this topic, in fact our most visited blog is on this topic: Support Spotlight: Top tips on configuring the SBO Mailer for SAP Business One
We also have a Guided Answer on this
We hope that helps,

Well, as I suspected, it is a FP issue.
I have chosen to install the FP 2208 and voilá everything works.
Now I'm going to backup the entire system and try migrating to the FP 2405 and see how it behaves or what happens.

I have a snapshot of the server and restore to repeat the installation.
I have already installed the FP2402 4 times and the FP2405 1.
I have reviewed the administrator guides in case I forgot something, related notes, troubleshooting alerts and troubleshooting mail service, guided answers.
In the event viewer of windows server 2022 an error occurs:
ID description not found. event 62 in the SBOMail source. The component that causes this event is not installed on the local computer, or the installation is corrupt - Failed to get mailer service config form SLD by server name:
I understand that the problem comes from not correctly saving the access or configuration data in the SLD.
In the SLD everything is correct and the Windows services running apparently everything works. Except this.
I cannot understand or determine what is failing or what needs to be configured.
It's exasperating.

I think the problem comes because it is a new installation and the poor configuration made in the SLD.
I attach an image, SLD.PNG in which you can see that you do not keep the credentials to the database or the repository path, the repository user name I have added it.
I think I will have to add a new server here in the SLD with this correctly covered information and verify if it leaves it recorded.
It would be good to know that XML file and route keep this information to edit or tune it.
