My customer had a crash during the weekend due to SBO (according to their IT department).
When opening SBO the system froze and nothing happened since.
This is now fixed (don't know how), but the question is, how could this happen to prevent this in future?
I have tried to install EWA to get some more details, but it doesn't seem to work yet (already logged a message).
Also received the following from their IT:
Event ID: 18002 Exception happened when running extended stored procedure 'sp_OACreate' in the library 'odsole70.dll'. SQL Server is terminating process 70.
Exception type: Win32 exception; Exception code: 0xe06d7363.
Event ID: 1002 Hanging application SAP Business One.exe, version 6.80.319.0, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.
Thanks,
Chief
Hi Chief,
we had the same problem in one customer. The system is frozen for 20 minutes and nobody is able to do something with.
This problem appears once for week and we aren`t able to find out, why it`s happens. In SQL log we can see that databse XXX is starting in that time when SBO is not working. We changed on the database on sql server property AutoClose to False and it seems that the problem is solved (I hope).
maybe it help you

Hi Petr,
Which SQL server version did your customer use and how do this action:
'the database on sql server property AutoClose to False'.
My customer has version SQLServer 2000 and SBO2005A PL22;
I selected the database, right-click 'Properties-> Tab Options-> Checkbox 'Auto close'.
So i have to checked the checkbox 'Auto close'?
Thanks.
Hi Petr and all !!!
I spent almost couple of days checking for soultion to this issue. But didnt find any clue.
Petr as per you i have checked the options of the DB's but the AutoClose is set to False itself still then we are receiving this error.
Only server reboot is becoming our final resolution... can anyone provide me a permanent resolution for this..
Thanks in Advance!!!!
