SAPFM06P - BADI_MM_PO_OC_EMAIL for S4CORE 107 and SAPSCRIPT

Dear all,

we are using standard SAPFM06P as program for email output of SAPSCRIPT forms out of purchase orders. By standard only partner function "VN" can be used as recipient, but we want to use a different partner function (which analogous is possible on SD side).
I found SAP note 217371 with BADI_MM_PO_OC_EMAIL and method CHANGE_RECIPIENTS which would basically facilitate our needs. Unfortunately this badi is only available for S4CORE up to 101 (we are using 107) and only for ADOBE (we are using SAPSCRIPT). I wasn`t able to find any other notes suggesting other solutions.

Do you know of any alternative badi/ solution available for our version and SAPSCRIPT

Might be time to start thinking about Adobe because it's WYSIWYG vs. SAPScript which clearly SAP has no intention of supporting in the future and is effectively like doing web development by writing HTML by hand.

(Also some related OSS notes are currently being improved and a new version is in preparation but not released yet. Not sure for old Sapscript?)

Hi Raymond, thanks a lot for the feedback. Unfortunately the descibed solutions only work for the new output management and/ or ADOBE and/ or BRF+, which we are all not using. The mentioned enhancement spots in SAPFM06P are also no longer available within our version. But thank you for your feedback. BR Lukas

You could also set a breakpoint at the start of FM ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE or CONVERT_COMM_TYPE_DATA to find an implicit improvement spot?

Thanks, I now found an enhancement section within SAPFM06P which maybe can be used. I`ll try that for starters. Thanks a lot for your input. BR
