SAP Version 10. SAP started freezing often whenever the "Add" button was pressed on any window.

I would be glad if someone has encountered this or knows how to resolve it.

When the "Add" button is pushed on any window in any module, such as an inventory transfer (Inventory) or an invoice (SD), the pop-up window starts loading, & eventually it replies, "Could not connect to the database". SAP began to freeze repeatedly. This issue was persistent in the live database (HANA). Following a server restart, everything continued to function.

As this problem remained, I'm sure a restart will make it work once more. However, it is highly embarrassing for those clients who rely on SAP.

Is the client installed on a workstation / laptop? If so, how is the workstation / laptop connected to the network?
