SAP Tables (accessed through SE16N) as favorites

Dear Experts,

Greetings, I did wild search but didn't find the answer thus asking (my regrets if already asked/replied).

Is there a way to save SAP Table names (e.g. CSKS, T8JV etc) as favorites ? I want to create fav list of SAP Tables extracted through SE16N on daily basis.

Why would you need to extract data with SE16N on a daily basis in the first place?

• What kind of 'favorites'? SAP Menu Favorites? Files containing data? And what is the content/purpose/functionality of this favorites lists?
• What should those 'favorites' contain? The way I read your question, you want to have each 'table name' in your favorites list, that you have entered in SE16N and accessed throughout the day. Or is it that you want the data of those tables being pulled on a daily basis?

I am novice so might be using manual ways. I use Se16n frequently to extract data/set up and it is not practical for me to remember several Table names therefore, inquired if I can create a list of my required Tables in Fav and then pick from there (like Tcode Fav in menu fav). It is like you mentioned in your 2nd bullet i.e. Table names in Fav List.

Hi muhd.imrantahir,

There is a simple way to address your topic. SAP GUI Scripting!

Just record the macro, save it and done.

You can save different macros for the different tables and just by executing them, you will get the tables download you need.

Look for stefan.schnell posts like this one where he gives the lay of the land about how to write each table with SAP GUI Scripting to a CSV using SAP GUI Scripting.
