SAP Subscription Billing, SAP S/4HANA Cloud Clarification

Hello Experts,

One quick question on the SAP EVENT MESH activation for Subscription Billing and SAP S/4HANA. Do we need to have 1NN business event handling enabled for public cloud or is there any standard out of the box event messaging can be used without having to have additional license for 1NN? @stefan_kiene

Chapter 2 contains a comparison of the two options:

• Event Broker:
  Introduced with 2402, no extra license and no cost required, as long as you have a CPEA enabled global account or a pay-as-you-go license
  Detailed set-up steps: Chapter 3
• Event Mesh:
  As you mentioned separate license required
  Detailed set-up steps: Chapter 4

Another source worth considering is the Integration Guide for Subscription Billing, that contains the different scenarios of Eventing and the links to the set-up on BTP side.

Hi @stefan_kiene one quick question. There is this Data Migration Cockpit Templates with SPA S/4. If we are having Subscription Billing solution for a project and customer created in Sub Bill and replicated in S/4. How do we approach loading the customers from their current system to SAP? Should all customers be loaded into Sub Bill first then replicated that into S/4 or directly feed in SAP S/4 via data migration template?

Please advise.

As the latest one about the migration is different from Event Mesh and thereby a separate topic, would you mind opening a new question for it?

Hi Brinda, For data migration , whats the tool customer are using ? if the customer are using SAP BYD, then data migration can be done to S/4 directly via .csv file
