SAP Service and Asset Manager Service order in Maintenance Technician

Hi Experts!

Please, could you explain me why SAM has the functionality of Service order in Maintenance Technician Persona? 

I understand that Service orders is from S4/Hana Service, when i go to a customer to execute the maintenance job. The maintenance technician persona is for S4/Hana EAM where we execute maintenance job for our own company.

Other question i have, is it possible in SAM add in a maintenance order, a service for an operation external with control key PM03? Or in a maintentece order created with Service in SAP and in SAM visualize this maintenance order, the external operation and the service?
