SAP Service and Asset Manager 2310 Online Service maintain issue

Hello Experts,

We are in the process of enabling SAP Service and Asset Manager 2310 in our SAP ECC system. As part of the SSAM 2310 enablement, we activated the BC set (/MERP/SAP_SRV_ASSET_MGR_2310_REF) and encountered an issue when attempting to maintain the service for Online Lookup (/MERP/SAP_ONLINE_LOOKUP_EXT_2310) in the SAP ECC.

We can maintain other SSAM 2310 services without any issues. We are facing the issue only with the online service. Can you please let me know if I am missing anything?

Hi Elsiar,

Could you please check that notes 3363800 and 3380014 are properly installed in your system first as they are responsible for the ModifiedEntities Entity Set.

To fix the error quickly please go to the configuration panel, /n/SYCLO/CONFIGPANEL (tcode), navigate to the oData Model Configuration. Select the Mobile Application SAP Service Asset Manager 2310 from the filter and expand the /MERP/SAP_ONLINE_LOOKUP_EXT_2310. Select the ModifiedEntity entity set, click on the property tab and click change. From there select the oMDO Field Name ENTITY_SET_NAME and save.

You should now be able to add the online service to the gateway service manifest.

I have a similar problem with /MERP/SAP_SRV_ASSET_MANAGER_2310

A specific "oMDO Field Name" does not exist as see in below print, but i does not know how to adjust.

You can verify the OData Model configuration to adjust the missing internal type, please refer to the attached screen shot for more details about technical attributes for this entity. modifiedentity.png

Try to implement all the notes listed for this release and also missing configurations listed under SAP note https://me.sap.com/notes/3400878.
