SAP S/4HANA PP - Variant Configuration: insert characters in table PLPOD field LTXA1

Dear SAP Community,

i need to set up the variant configuration in a way that when creating a sales order a text/name can be entered as the value of a characteristic and this text/name should afterwards be visible in the operation description field in the production order. Therefore i created a class for the engraving(see below) and a characteristic(see below).

Can you please explain me how to set up the system in a way that the inserted text/name as a value of characteristic of CJP_Engraving will then be shown in the operation description field of production orders for my KMAT?
