SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud in China - Data Storage

Hi Expert,

We have the query related to the storage of data within country.

Client want to implement SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud edition and as per the China's law the data needs to be stored within the China.

Can you please guide me for the same!

Yes, for Chinese SAP S/4HANA Cloud customers, their system tenants will be in local data centers.

We are an existing S4HC client live since 2021 hosted in a USA Data Center. We have companies in China and Hong Kong but they are a small percent of total data. How can this be handled?  Or how can we have most of our data in USA data center in Iowa while a small percentage is in China?

Hi namandixit : Thanks for the question. Please touch base with your SAP account team/Sales team around this query. We have a Data center in China (Shanghai) - https://www.sap.com/about/trust-center/data-center.html?mode=solution&currentLevel=region&solutionId... which is avallable for the Chinese customers. As this is a Sales/Presales concern you can check this with your related SAP account contacts during the contract and Presales or Discovery phases.
