I have to migrate customers with address independent communication data (such as e-mail, phone number etc.) in SAP S/4 HANA on premise 2020 FSP01. See Printscreen address-independent-communication.jpg
For this reason I will use the migration cockpit with migration approach «migrate data using staging tables».
For populating the staging tables I will use the xml-template of migration object «customer»
Is it even possible to migrate customer with address independent communication with the standard xml-template of migration object «customer»? Or exist there a possibility to change the migration object via migration object modeler (LTMOM) in a certain way?
I have already checked SAP community, available migration object descriptions on SAP Help Portal, Google etc. Unfortunately I have not found any useful information.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Renato,
general approach is as follows:
1. check in XML template file if fields are already provided. In the XML template, use worksheet "Field List" to check.
2. If fields are not in, you go for LTMOM to enhance existing migration object, or create new one. Check if API already can take care of your fields that are missing in the template. For detailed documentation on LTMOM please check our our training section in Data Migration Landing page.
