SAP S/4 HANA iDoc CREDAT and CRETIM format changes sending via ALE

All our Outbound iDocs when downloaded thru WE19 as flat file shows CREDAT and CRETIM in YYYYMMDD and HHMMSS format. However, when they are sent to our customer, they received it in YYYY-MM-DD and HH:MM:SS format. We are doing ALE connection when doing the transfer. Is there anything that we need to check? Appreciate you advise. Thank you.

I guess you have to tell us a bit more about your scenario. When you talk about WE19 isn't it the transaction to upload IDOCs for test purpose? What kind of communication do you have for your outbound IDOC? It's really "ALE" - mean you send it to another SAP System or is here a middleware involved? Which kind of outbound port you have used - maybe you can share a screenshot of it - you find it in WE21.

As @helmut_skolaut3 said, we're missing the type of "IDoc Port" you are using, or any custom scenario to send the IDoc. With WE19, you select any IDoc Port you want, for test purpose. But in the real world, it can be Flat Text or XML File (then choose the way you want to send the file), HTTPS Flat Text or XML, etc. In XML format, the date and time formats are YYYY-MM-DD and HH:MM:SS.

SAP S/4 HANA and using port type Transactional RFC. Version is IDoc 4.x. RFC destination is a TCP/IP Connection.

If you connect through RFC, then the receiver function doesn't receive dates and times in YYYY-MM-DD and HH:MM:SS formats, the RFC function receives in the RFC protocol formats (if it's ABAP, it's types D and T which correspond to YYYYMMDD and HHMMSS). Please clarify where you see YYYY-MM-DD and HH:MM:SS formats, and what's the exact chain between the RFC call and where you see these formats.
