SAP Reserved Characters for Business Place ODN Prefix - India

Hi Experts and Friends,

I have a question whether when defining the ODN prefix for the purpose of GST for Business places - India.

The Config in question is : 101319-Assign Number Ranges to Business Places for GST for India.

I have created the Business Places as per the states and wanted to give the prefix for the ODN as per the state codes such as the below;

Business Place - RJ (Rajasthan) 

then, it gives me an error as such;

If it was a reserved character, then it shouldn't have let me give it for the business place itself.

Is there any workaround or solution for the above do let me know. If we can give any relevant prefix for the ODN as i also tried the numeric state code for Rajasthan(08) and it gave me the same error.

Hi,

I strongly suggest opening a Support incident, as this behavior seems incorrect as the system is giving you no choice to maintain valid entries as a user.
