Case description :

Company A owns offices that is rented partially by another company in the group. I don't know if this scenario is supported and integrated in RE-FX. I don't see it in the documentation.

I guess it can be achieved using CO modules (with statiscal key figures for example) but it would requires a bit of specific for the finance part compliance (using RRICB with an adaption of BADI).

In that case you should request access to your reference client 000 where you can see all the pre-delivered SAP reference configuration. If you get them to create an RFC in your config client to point to 000 you will be able to simply select and import the missing config entries that you would like to copy over to your config client.

Very likely what has happened is that you are setting up RE-FX and an existing system where RE-FX has never been activated or configured during the initial implementation. In that case there will be not config data at all in your config client and you'll have an empty RE-FX system.

I highly recommend you don't start from scratch but use client 000 as a reference.

I have managed to get customizing from 000 (it was a bit tricky and manual as there was no BC set) and I have successfully managed to create a contract (CO04 internal lease-out). An interco posting is indeed generated. Thanks !

Hi in RE-FX you can use contract type "Internal Lease-Out". In this contract type the Contract Category is set to "Internal Contract" and instead of a BP you'll have to assign an "Internal Partner" being a Cost Center, Order or WBS.

This allows you to create the contract in cocd A and use a cost center in cocd B. During the periodic posting the system automatically creates a posting in both cocd A as a revenue and an expense in cocd B.

Thanks Andre. Actually I don't have any existing contract type in my environment. I have tried to customize one but I am surprised there's no standard one. Have I missing a BC Set ?
