Hello,
For message For QE181, please check indicator 'Check Chars' ('Inspect by Characteristics' - QMAT-MER) in the 'Inspection Setup Data' of the material master for your inspection type.
Also make sure inspection lot Status details: I0002 - REL - Released I0207 - CALC - Sample calculated.
Please refer SAP KBA on it,
2281024 - In transaction QA32 message QE181 - 'Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot &' is raised
