SAP QM - inspection characteristics dependent on inspection severity

Greetings,

I was wondering if there is any functionality that would allow us to have different inspections according to inspection severity.

I am aware that dynamic modification rules allow us to control inspection scope according to inspection severity and I was wondering if it also possible to control inspection characteristics or at least operations in inspection plan according to inspection severity.

This question has been asked before but it was a while ago so I thought I might ask it again (hope I am not braking any forum rules).

On top of that I was also wondering if it possible to create custom inspection severity values. With standard SAP system we get:

• tightened
• reduced
• normal

answering my own question here. The functionality can be achieved by using dynamic modification at characteristic level. Custom inspection severities can not be maintained. These values come with the system according to ANSI standard.
