SAP Public Cloud CBC Organizational Structure Default Company Code and Cloud Warehouse

Dear All

We are configuring Organizational Structure within CBC but while confirming the organizational structure, system is prompting to confirm the Default Company Code for each country and Cloud Warehouse relation to a storage location.

Kindly confirm what is the objective and impact of assigning the default company code and linking a Cloud Warehouse to storage location. Please also explain the purpose of Cloud Warehouse as we dont have any such requirement neither implementing EWM but its mandatory to create organizational structure.

Hi there, Good day! 1. Why default company code is mandatory? For every country/region, there should be one default company code. The default company code is required for activating the organizational structure in the target system. See, Organizational Units 2. Why Relation between Cloud Warehouse & Storage location is mandatory? These mandatory organizational entities are in accordance to the selected Scenarios during Scoping.
