i want to know more about ETO through SAP PS. my requirement is that for RND related activities are handled through project in sap system. ETO is suitable for that? is the BOM usage for RND FG is Engineering/Design.?

PS is great for ETO. You don't need FG Boms. It's very flexible. Look in help.sap.com as well.
