SAP PM - You must specify a batch for material XXXXXXXX Message No. IW870

Hi,

when I try to schedule a Maintenance Plan with IP10 I receive this information message:

There is no option of filling split valuation value/the field "Batch" in general tasklist via IA05.

Now the problem is if I schedule maintenance plan via IP30 deadline monitoring with task list having split valuated component assigned in it, although the plan gets schedule but call object "Order" doesn't gets created which is because of this information message which I am getting via IP10.

I have also tried assigning/changing/deleting the message IW870 with different message category - blank/error/warning but its not sorting out the issue.

If any solution to overcome this issue. Please suggest. Is it a SAP bug ?

I have implemented this note already but the system behavior is still the same.

The function of message number IW860 is to make batch (split valuation) field optional/mandatory in component tab of maintenance order where as the function of message number IW870 is to check the batch (split valuation) value at the time of scheduling maintenance plan but behavior of message IW870 is depending on the configuration settings of message IW860.
