SAP PM strategy not working as planned

Hi

I've build a strategy plan with the following cycles:

500H, 1000H, 2000H, 4000H and 6000H.

The problem is that at 8000H should be a 2000H instead of 4000H.

it seems that cycle is not restarting.

How do i solve this?

what i want is a cycle reset every 6000H. At 8000H should be a 2000H and at 10000H another 4000H

Solved.

For the 4000H cycle I added a 4000H offset with 6000H cycle.

This only solves it for 8.000h but not at 16.000?

It solves all the cycles for the 4000H. Every 6000H you start a new cycle. So, the next 4000H should be at: 4000H, 10.000H, 16.000H and so on

Check the hierachies in the strategy.

the hierarchy is the same as package number. pkg 1 - hierar - 1, pkg 2 - hierar - 2, ...

I don't understand what you want to achieve. When 4000h has a higher hierarchy level then 2000h the 4000h will always override the 2000h (both at 4000h and 8000h)

The cycle do not end or reset when the longest cycle has been reached but the cycles extend into eternity.

To reset to the start you have to restart the plan in IP10.

more or less understood. do you mean every time counter achieves 6000h i need to go to IP10 and start again cycle? manually?
