SAP PM Error-'Status Profile not allowed with Object type' while creating an order

While trying to create a work order using IW31, there is an error which prevents me

 'Status Profile X not allowed with Object type Y'

How do I resolve this? Any configuration change required?

Can you share the screenshot or the error message number of this error.

This looks like a custom error, then you need to connect your functional consultant or abaper to understand more.
