Hi there,
I wanted to install the 30 day trial SAP PLC system. Therefore I followed the tutorial and was able to fully install an appliance on the Google Cloud Platform. I also downloaded installed the PLC client and copy/pasted the config file to the indicated folder.
Furthermore, following the linked guide, I also updated my host file with the external and internal IP address for the #PLC appliance
However, now, I struggle connecting to the #PLC system, as I get the following error
When checking the content of the config file, it looks somehow not fully pre-configured at all, as :
The linked guide (https://caldocs.hana.ondemand.com/caldocs/help/61af97ea-be7e-4531-ae07-f1db561d0847_Getting_Started_...) provides some additional input, however I still struggle.
Has anyone experience with this kind of setup?

Hi Serge,
I hope this message finds you well! 🙂
If your query is still of interest, the issue most likely is from the untrusted HTTPS certificate of the machine. The process to have a trusted connection is described in the "Getting Started" guide.
We recently released the SP8 of the Product Lifecycle Costing Appliance, which makes the process easier. It is also described in the "Getting Started" guide. Let me know if you still have issues with this and we can quickly connect to solve your issue.
PS: Regarding the config file, we assure you that it has all the information you need in order to use the backend. Yes, you can configure additional entries, as the one you highlighted, but they are not required for the initial login.
Best Regards,
Alex Baluta
