SAP GROUP REPORTING - CUSTOM CALCULATION FOR AMORTIZATION

Hi All,

Our Consolidation project is from SAP BPC to Group reporting, in their BPC system they have a customize script logic to calculate amortization using a Script Logic(it has complicated logic and condition). In Group Reporting do you have suggestion how we can accomodate this custom calculation? As initial solution, this will be configured in SAC Planning and export the result to ACDOCU. Will greatly appreciate for your inputs.

Could you provide the script? Reclassification rules or custom task could be an option depending on what you find in the script.

Dear JayMark

There's not whole lot you can do with group reporting S/4HANA to post amortization except using percentage to do reclassification similar to Example for Interunit Elimination of Profit in Inventory 

the percentages themselves will have to come from manual input or could be calculated from SAC Planning 

and export the percentages results back to group reporting S/4HANA
