Dear Experts,

it is possible to define different Investment FS Item for each subsidiary?

I testd the functionality myself, but I noticed that the C/I Activity field was left blank, so the eliminations was not performed.

Hello Giulia, Can I ask what you did after you defined a new FS Item Role for each Investment and a new Elimination Selection which includes the new FS Item Roles you created? Where did you assign the new FS Item Role and the new Elimination Selection so that system generates value for C/I Activity field and performs elimination on them? (My customer also asked me to define an Investment FS Item for each Subsidiary.) Thank you in advance. Best Regards, Chen

Hi

Yes you can define different Investment FS item for each subs but why do you want to do that ? The parents investment in sub is recognised based on trading partner assignment.

Hi MJ,

our Customer asked us to define an Investment FS Item for each Subsidiary they own.

I was able to solve my issue defining a new FS Item Role for each Investment and a new Elimination Selection which includes the new FS Item Roles I created.
